Join us as we welcome Kevin Black, MD, from Washington University. Dr. Black is renowned for his work in Neuropsychiatry and movement disorders. He is a Professor of Psychiatry, Neurology, Radiology and Neuroscience. Dr. Black will increase our understanding of Functional Neurological Disorders in his presentation, Functional Neurological Disorders: Nursing Management at School. This evening promises to be a wealth of knowledge from an expert in the field of neuropsychology, as well as pertinent to our daily practice as school nurses, who are seeing an increase in the diagnosis of Functional Neurological Disorders in our students. Suburban is excited to offer you this amazing and highly requested educational event, so we may learn more about this important diagnosis and how to support our students.
We are saving the normal raffle basket fundraiser for the MASN conference. Instead, we have chosen to sponsor a diaper drive for the
St Louis Crisis Nursery. The Saint Louis Crisis Nursery provides a short-term, safe haven for 5,000 children a year, birth through age 12, whose families face an emergency caused by illness, homelessness, domestic violence or overwhelming parental stress.
A
local news station reported that the Crisis Nursery are short 115,000 diapers on their goal. They are in need of diapers/pull ups sizes (4, 5 & 6), wipes & diaper cream. Please bring a donation for the Crisis Nursery to the dinner, if you are able to.
